Unique target ideas outside the box.

I have created the basement range. This range has a diverse biome.

Here if we are absolutely quiet we can see some of the diverse wildlife and hunting opportunities that present themselves.

Of course those are the good times. And to protect those times and our freedoms sometimes plastic must be shed.

In this heroic scene we can see that we have given up our location however we won the offencive.

Post some of your UniQue ideas I need more stuff to shoot at.

That's funny! How much space do you have to shoot in the basement? 10 yards?

Yes sir that's it. Here's a good news though next door I had three abandoned houses that were torn down so there are about four lots next to my property that I am about to purchase. My next creation will be an outdoor range. And mowing it with this thing really sucks.

Ahh destruction and mayhem galore such a deal. ;^) Those are great targets. You are lucky to be able to expand the size of your lot. Most end up doing the opposite and yup looks like your next new gun needs to look like a bigger lawn mower.

Watch out for the glow in the dark aliens too they is dangerous once they get out of the bag.

I am liking the necco wafer. How do you keep that attached to the target? Man that's like a tiny clay pigeons. Absolute genius!!

Just saw the thread, and it is pouring cats and dogs out there so sorry no pics. Get a 2x4 or similar and drill 1/8 holes in a line say 1/2 inch deep and a couple, few inches apart. Take some DumDum lollipops (usually cheapest) and insert handle into the board.

Like the Necco wafer they just blow up on impact. Great attitude changer!! Lots of smiles.

Great ideas folks! Here is another revision of the necco/smarties clay pigeons. Can't wait to try lollipops. Tootsie pops won't last long enough to ever make a single Target I'm going to have to get some of those really cheap flat ones that you give kids in doctor's offices.

I've been smoking Black and milds cigars for years and it's always bothered me that I didn't have anything to do with the plastic tip always want to recycle and reuse it somehow I never really found a decent used for these things until now.

I had a crazy thought of an experiment using CO2 canisters and some type of Tupperware filled with water to simulate ducks floating on the water a somewhat gentle moving Target. Kind of like a parade float built on a CO2 cartridge floating in tupperware.

The immediate problem that I encountered is that the CO2 cartridges do not float. I could probably substitute some type of like ping pong ball or something like that I don't know. It was a fun thought if anybody comes up with something I'd love to see it.

I can see this being a whole new skill set like little mini dioramas built for target practice. Seriously somebody can go way detailed with it and do like a wildlife scene.

Just some crazy ideas. I got to tell you I'm having a hell of a lot of fun doing headshots on plastic army men.

The squirrels are my target providers, in conjunction with the pine trees in my yard. They'll relocate the cones hither and yon, at no particular rhyme or reason. Nature also provides me with the more difficult targets in the various leaves and branches of the trees and brush located around the property, and no need for a police call, when the mower comes around it will shred the remnants of the pine cones to mulch.
