I received the Wolverine yesterday and set it up.  It is a sweet shooter for sure, right out of the box, but if anyone plans to get one, it may be a good idea to take a view on this video, especially if you are a lefty.

Man is that nice! I had to stop what I was doing to watch that video. Being left handed myself, I never felt the need to convert a bolt or lever to the opposite side.

Feel free to send that air rifle my way my way if you decide it isn’t worth the hassle to switch the lever. ?

Congratulations and enjoy the new BIG BOY TOY.

I got the gun in 177.  I don’t do much hunting.  Only if a rodent of sorts crosses my target path.  There are a few squirrels and rabbits that wish they didn’t ;) . .

I took the lever out and there is an actuator ball bearing that it pushes against a lever behind it.  All that may have to be switched to the other side, I can’t tell for sure.  At this point, I am not ready to take it down any further and will accept the lever on the right side in lieu of sending it back.  I honestly don’t think the guys in the service department know any more than I do at this point because the gun is so new.  The difference is they can get the information where I probably can’t.  I did send a request to Daystate to fill me in, but the chances of that are quite slim.

It is shooting H&H Barracuda heavy pellets at 900 FPS with only a 3-5 FPS spread.  I will try others in the near future.

This actually may have been the first one released from AOA (according to what I was told), but more should be coming soon and others will post I’m sure.

My back pocket, where I keep my wallet, seem to have lost a lot of weight.

I’m sure the sidelever switching is the same as the renegade and pulsar?
Their manual has the instructions. Maybe have a look and see if it looks familiar to what you can see on yours?

That looks close, but nothing is mentioned about the ball bearing that play a part in the equation.  I will give it another try in a few days if I get shut down by Daystate.  Thanks for the link.

Looks Awesome!  Well, I must say I am a bit jealous.  As soon as I saw a video on them, I thought YES, finally a sidelever that can be switched to the left side.  Hope it all works out for you in switching to the other side.  At least Daystate hasn’t forgotten about us Southpaws.

Good luck and enjoy your new toy.  Will be interested in seeing some velocity data and final accuracy for the 22.

Ok,I’m on the made a refundable deposit list at AOA . Looks like a sweet gun and I’m sure I won’t be  disappointed. But…..were is the Huggett ?? I want to see the Huggett on my grey laminated .25 at the advertised price point.  Is it in the box?  I sure hope so…….

Looks like a very nice gun indeed. Congrats! I would hope that for that much dough it came with the full Huggett Shroud. My particular flavor of these is the C type with integrated Pic Rail.

Man I wish that I wasn’t so broke. A .25 or .30 cal would suit me just fine thank you. Beautiful rifle and congrats on receiving it so early. Keep us posted please.

I questioned that too.  It doesn’t come with the Huggett and that is somewhat disappointing.  That shroud is expensive to buy separately.  This must be Daystate’s idea of keeping costs down although at the price of this beast, the shroud should be included

This is a new gun with a regulator specially designed for it by Huma (or so we are led to believe).  I guess they figured they could get away with not adding it to the overall package.

If anyone collects further information about the no Huggett situation, don’t hesitate to post.

When I called AOA about it, I was told they “don’t sell moderators anymore” and a search for one on the site comes up blank although rifles like the Hi-Lite and Air Wolf MCt look like they still have one.  Even the new Red Wolf is stripped of the Huggett.

This is getting interesting. I want the gun exactly like Jared showed us in the Shot Show video. Even the AOA website shows it with the Huggett. If the price is without one then I will need to re-think this one.

Daystate maks very beautiful, eye-appealing rifles especially in walnut.  I have a Regal XL and it gorgeous.  I don’t like the style of tThe other brand that comes from Northern Europe.  They look like they came from Ikea.

Do you mean the gun or the moderator?  The gun I got from AirGuns of Arizona and they don’t Huggett sell the moderator separately even though the picture shows one on the gun.  I am still looking into that situation to find out why it wasn’t included.

Some pictures and videos I have seen show the gun both ways, with and without the Huggett.  I am going to call again today to try to get more information.
