UMEREX HAMMER

And the energy numbers are nearly there (only numbers for first and highest shot calculated):

Whats way worse is the overfill/short shot problem!

I will await the first lawsuit regarding a bulged barrel due to shot 1 not clearing properly and shot 2 stacking up on that.

Oh for crying out loud. You think a 3,000 psi puff of air is going to bulge a barrel with a slug stuck in it? Get a clue. A puny 38 Special develops 17,000 PSI for standard loads in it's conduit size barrel. Mild steel has a tensile strength of 78,300 pounds per square inch. The plugged barrel simply becomes a temporary pressure vessel until the air leaks out the breech seal. You need to go crochet doilies or joint the sock of the month club instead of spreading hate about a gun you never got because you think you were promised it. You never got that holy Grail Red Rider for Christmas. You got a cork gun and I can see why.
You're making Airgun nation look like a snivelling weenie's club :( :(

Mr. Hollowpoint has got a standard out of the box Hammer:

What the regulation does i have no idea about but wild air use and shots 1 and 2 that are no way near speed vise (fair is fair, the mid sized bullets shows good/small spread in speed!):

Do seems like the Hammer like most all PCP airguns like friction/backpressure for optimum speed.

I do love his remark about keeping your masturbating hand far avay from the mag side of the rifle while firing. That must be reasuring having 4500psi air vented mere inches in front of your nose.

At least Umarex has gotten some additional power out of the Hammer and now shows 740+fpe . Go Umarex go!

What i question is the shot groups he gets in his basement. What's the distance? 10-15yds and he consistently gets 1"+ groups. To boot spread is horisontaly thus lots of barrel harmonics.

You guys keep hauling your airbottles and $1000+ boosters into the fields/woods to shoot more than 3-4 shots for the day.

So it seems the Texan will do 3 shots way above 920fpe from one 4500psi fill.

And will it ever come close to those numbers with the leaking magazine even for a single shot from the Hammer?

Will the Hammer ever ship for real?

4 years and going, how loyal (and non shooting) do you folks count yourself?
