Got the right section this time.

What do you think? Any idea if it will be available for the US market? I like the look and that it's a bottle gun. Can't really tell with its covered grip.Shot count should be high in 22 cal.

Bottled, check

Shot count, check

22 cal, check

Quiet, check

Forward Side lever down low, check

Accuracy, ?

Affordable,? I think it will be considering umarex historical pricing

It checks off a lot of my check boxes just need to know those last two.

I'm also excited about the bottled AGT extended Colibri. I can't really remember the name of it but it looks to be something cool in the future. Anyone know when that will be out? I need to start saving

True. It's good to hold one first. I like the synthetic style plastic. It's LIGHTER . The only synthetic style stocks I've handled were my wildcats and I really liked those stocks. Preferred them over the Walnut and laminate atleast on the wildcats. I don't know if the Walther Reign build quality will be on the same level as my FXs but I'm not really expecting it to be. It is already confirmed to be very light at 5.5 lbs. And I do know it is an aluminum bottle under there, which I'm very excited for. I love bottle fed guns especially out in the field. I will take shot count and light weight over heavy and tank like all day long. I don't know maybe the quality will surprise me. I will still enjoy it for 799 which will probably be 1050 US hopefully less. I'm looking at the whole package which for me checks off about 80 percent so far. Looking forward to some accuracy tests and actual shot count. The guy was knocking down all the targets first time he held it and he unloaded the whole mag 12 shots I believe. That was the 12 ft lb Version.

Well something to look for in the Summer. I was keeping my eye out for a used 1st Gen FX impact in 22 cal because I want something compact with high shot count. Who knows, The Umarex Walther Reign just might be it.

Check out Giles with the Umarex Reign at 17:33

He held it and had good things to say. Enjoy!

Nice!

I'm really digging this one also!
And, I'm also a fan of synthetic stocks. I use or try to use them on everything..
My center fire rifles even have them. Vincent Company Titan and ProMag Archangel..
Not just plastic, but composite using either fiberglass or carbon fiber reinforcement..

Anyways..

Shot counts per fill..

.22 cal 90 reg shots @ 12 ft lbs

I'd just guestimate about 1/2 of that..

.22 cal 34-45 reg shots @ 24-25 ft lbs

There are a few more variables though.. Especially the pellet grain/weight.

😃👍

Umarex (Walther) Reign Bullpup, TBD in June 2020.

Just a heads up, I just got word not too long ago that this Bullpup is on Pyramyd Air now but only for pre-orders. I'm hoping of course it doesn't drag out longer than that think Hammer.

Putting out some great looking features for sub $600 Bullpup.

The one thi g that looks to have changed is a fixed mod which I'm sure will be effective but was hoping to use one of my DFLs.

June will be a good month.

Check it out!

My take from pics, videos and Blackpool video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxnfeReuoqc

Reversible cocking lever and magazine is nice for lefties.

Umarex doesn't do a good trigger on any of their guns. It is that much more difficult to make one on a bullpup so I'm not surprised it is terrible.

Lightweight is great...hard plasticy with resonance is not.

They could have moved the action rearward. Wasted some barrel length opportunity.

At that price point bottle should be 250-300 bar at least and probably carbon fiber.

Noise abatement is disappointing. The Gauntlet is good enough for backyard use without additional help, IMHO. Lots of bullpups do well...like the Taipan Veteran which is quiet with no help. This means you have to add another $150 or so to the price of it.

Don't understand why the stock buttplate goes up so high. In a bullpup you'd never put your shoulder in the upper part. An adjustable buttplate would have been nice..like the adjustable cheekpad on the Gauntlet.

The Reign ticks all of my boxes.... — what a feature-loaded, great looking gun! 😄 At such an awesome price!

Except for one box — SIZE:

I'm really sad that such a great gun exceeds typical "bullpup length" with its excessive OAL of 34" (86cm).... 😟

➔ It would fit in no large suitcase for airline travel — and in no typical large backpack for the trail. So, it's really just a "carbine with the action behind the trigger." 😟

There is a post with photos for a side by side comparison of 40 bullpups — according to their length.

I hope other manufacturers will follow Umarex by offering feature-rich bullpups, with synthetic stocks, at less than four-digit price tags. 👍🏼
