Just bought Umarex Ready Air compressor. Have used it 4 times. Now it will not fill past 2600 PSI. Any suggestions?

Are you tightening the brass valve knob all the way in while filling? Does the gun that you’re filling leak at that point perhaps?........and not to insult your intelligence, but you are setting the fill pressure to higher than that on the display, yes?

I have found that when my compressor does not fill past a certain point I usually have a small leak somewhere. Once I track down the leak and repair it it will fill to it's max again.

Yes i have tightened all hoses and bleeder valve. The tank will hold the air at 2600 PSI when i disconnect it. Also i can put the brass plug into hose end and it still will not go past 2600 PSI. Hoping it is not an o ring inside the compressor with less than 20 minutes total on compressor. Was just hoping someone might have had this same problem with their compressor and could tell me what was happening.

That is the next step. Just rebuilt the piston following the online video and now it wont go over 2400. If there is a leak it is internally in the compressor. My tank is no longer leaking.

Biohazardman is spot on for an external fitting or hose leak. I found the exact issue using my Benjamin Traveler compressor. Being dilligent on the complete fill cycle helped me identify the leak source and a simple o-ring replacement sealed the deal .....pun intended. Since you tested your Ready Air with the plug attached, I think you have your answer, the internal o-ring leak or a faulty pressure switch unfortunately.

Sent Compressor back to Umarex, and got a new one shipped back to me. No explanations, nothing, just received a new one. It is working so far.
