Umarex NXG APX Ballistic Gel test...and it's tasty!

Over the summer my son and I made a silicone mold of Legos™ then we made some tasty sour gelatin to fill the molds. He loved building with the sour gummies then eating them. Summer got busy and we moved on to some other things. My wife was cleaning out the fridge tonight and found a stash of gelatin that I'd made and stored in the fridge intending to use it later to make some more Legos™. It's probably past its prime as far as using it as a food product, so I decided to shoot the gelatin blocks. They were about 10-12 cm^3 blocks. Side by side it makes about 20-24cm of fruit flavored sour gelatin. I first shot a standard JSB .177 8.44gr pellets at the blocks. After 10 pumps the pellet went about 12cm, ie all the way through the first block and about 2cm into the second block. Next I shot a JSB Exact Beast Diabolo 16.2 pellet. This went about 14cm through the gelatin. I carved out the pellets and they're not really deformed at all, but you can clearly see the rifling on the edges. I thought that was pretty cool.
