Umarex Gauntlet: Cracked Air Stripper (Hajimotos resolve VIDEO)

Hello Shooty Shooters!
Talking with other Gauntlet owners and speaking with the Umarex Warranty folks, it appears the Air Strippers were made just a little undersized. The Air Stripper is made in an injection mould and they split right on the seam as shown in my photo below. Please know that Umarex will replace the cracked Air Stripper free of charge just go to their customer service area and fill out the form https://www.umarexusa.com/pages/contact-us

When I called Umarex to explain that stripper was shot balls they told me that they did not receive their parts order in the US yet but as soon at it was in, I would receive one. So while I waited for my new air stripper to arrive I started working on a more efficient design which would relieve more air from the projectile stream and force it rearward towards the release hole that drilled in the barrel shroud near the breech.
I went through 10 redesigns before I found one that worked well and I tested it for over 1000 shots. This air stripper is designed to be used with the factory one-piece baffle or my HP Baffles. Obvious, y there is a greater benefit is used with the HP Baffles as they remove even more air and turbulence from the pellets travel path (as is shown in other folks HP Baffle result posts).

Below is the 3D design of the stripper and below that is the Air stripper after 1000 rounds sent through it. You will notice the grey color to the silicone lube from all the lead dust as the stripper was exhausting rearward.

Your air stripper works great.. Umarex sent me a new one but it cost me $2.50 extra postage due because they sent postage paid for a flat envolope !! Great for umarex to do that.. The last time I dealt with them I just wanted the sizes of the o rings on a bt65.. THEY REPLIED TO BUY A KIT FROM THEM... I am grateful for forums as the members gave me the info that I need.. Now trying to find out the sizes of o rings for the gauntlet .177.. Thanks Hajimoto for your hard work !!!!
