Umarex Fail

Too bad...
I wish companies were more lenient on their release dates. Sorta feel like the Impact was rushed to market when it should've had a couple more months of testing and production.
If Umarex said middle of 2017 or Q3 that would give them plenty of time to get things right in case of production issues. 

Any idea when the Gauntlet .25 or the Hammer will be avaliable? And I agree about advertising realistic dates.

Messages conveyed during SHOT Show were based on what I was told and I had no reason not to believe. Our quality manager is inspecting this week (week of Aug.1). IF all checks out well, I expect some to roll in to our facility first part of September. If not, then I don't know. The last 5 quality samples we have shoot as expected and previously advertised. I'm confident we're delivering the product as hyped. As for realistic dates... I hear you. Please don't "shoot" this messenger. ~JB

I am interested in both the Hammer and the Gauntlet...any news on the Hammer? Was slated to be released at the end of August. Any info would be appreciated!

msurf; the Umarex Hammer went back into R&D after discovering a hiccup in a mechanical portion of the design in terms of longevity. That has been worked out and the current prototype has entered testing again. Obviously August is off the table. I'm sorry that I'm unable to provide anything further. ~JB

ThisGuy; There is a good chance a small allotment will arrive in Fort Smith approximately first week of September, barring any unforeseen logistical issues. ~JB

We are receiving a small shipment of the Gauntlet this week. After processing and those guns will be heading out to AGD, PA, and AGA. There will be a larger shipment following this first shipment soon after.

The Hammer is undergoing some engineering changes. It is still in testing at this point. The goal is not just to get something to the market, but to bring some extraordinary to the market.

Thanks mrcoffee! Well looks like the Gauntlet is getting close...the dates haven't changed on my order, so possibly may be getting mine after the 5th! Then can save up for the Hammer!

Wondering if the shipment arrived? Heard that the dates will be pushed back until the first to mid November?

Any chance we can get an update on the gauntlet? The date has been pushed back again. Has umarex considered putting out a press release or something? It might help with some of the frustration seen on the forums.

Heavy advertising on American Airgunner, but no guns yet. Umarex really missed the boat on this gun. They should have waited until they could supply working guns before they advertised the Gauntlet so much and let all the well known writers have guns to review and put out videos. Very poor PR.
