TX200HC .177 Walnut - Project Overview

Is that a barrel weight attached the lower end of the barrel of your TX200HC? Is so, where did you get it?

Dark, I’m not sure what you are referring to. The block under the end of the barrel is the housing for the cocking handle latching mechanism. It contains a spring loaded steel ball that latches into the cocking handle.

Probably talking about the cocking assist. ..believe the HCs come stock with them while the longer rifles do not.
 
Thanks. I've seen some videos but they were from across the pond with 12 foot pound guns. With the way the rear spring retainer/cap comes off once the trigger assembly is out, it does look easy to do without a compressor. I have a tin of the AA's 16 grns that I have not tried yet, thanks. Again, beautifully documented project! I'm going to resist ever going PCP and stick with springers.
