You folks that have either the TX200 or Pro Sport......I'm trying to determine what the proper height scope rings will need to be for a 50mm objective, 30mm tube. Confirm my thinking.....I'm looking at the Sportsmatch, High, Adjustable dovetail rings that I've found a reference saying, at their lowest height, is 19.5mm from base to bottom of the tube. Add 15mm for half the tube diameter. 19.5 + 15 = 34.5mm. 34.5mm - 25mm( half the objective) = 9.5mm clearance between the barrel and bell. Then consider the scope cap, should still clear by 5-6mm.
The FX No Limits seem to figure the same.
Are you folks mounting your scopes higher than that?
I've also read of some not recommending using adjustable height rings on a springer. I guess because of the possibility of them shifting.
