Twins Separated at Birth?

Okay, I have met some pretty cool fellow airgunners on this forum, and sometimes I even end up chatting on the phone with some. I didn't expect my newest hobby to lead to new friends on the other side of the country. Anyways, Bigragu is one of these new friends. I was so stoked when he got his first raccoons with an air rifle recently. He had some questions about my Wildcat 30 cal, and while we were talking on the phone, he asked me if the Hatsan fill probe has the same dimensions as the FX fill probe, because they look the same in photos. Well, I broke out my 6-inch calipers and checked, and all dimensions of the probes that insert into the fill port were the same except one, which was only different by one-thousandth of an inch. I decided it was time to "Science" this issue. Ended up filling my FX Streamline to 230 Bar with my Hatsan probe! Did anyone else realize this, and I was just ignorant of it? Bigragu and I were so surprised, even if we shouldn't have been. Looks like the FX and Hatsan fill probes are twins separated at birth.

Here's a tip for everyone:

Evanix, FX, Hatsan, Kral Arms

Use The Same Style Fill Probes [The majority of the time - As in MOST models]

And here's a shot of what the probe-end will look like:

I have a Hatsan Gladius and a Kral Puncher Breaker,
and I use the same probe to fill both of them..
IMO, the Hatsan brand probe fits / works a bit better.

🙂👍
