One of my favorite targets at my catfish pond! They are so voracious that when I shoot grackles over the water the turtles take them down under in a hurry … so do the “big” catfish!

how large is the pond? seems like a lot turtles for one pond, i can see why they need to be thinned out.

its over 350 one direction and 250 the other. It's a big flood control that has some big fish. And like I said the turtles are eating the fish. I should have specified and said eating his bait fish lol. Sorry it took a while to reply.

What kind are those?
I’ve been struggling with whether I need to thin them out of mine ponds or not. Mine are varieties of sliders we call cooters in Florida. I can’t see what harm they might do. But they are definately multiplying.
