Tuning Tuning Flashpup 22 suggestions

I’ve never been sure about regulating my Flashpup. The cylinder is so small, doesn’t the volume lost to the reg defeat the gain in regulated shots? I just turned my HS down and use it exclusively as a squirrel gun at 25 yards. Getting about 40 good (unregulated) shots from 200 bar to 110 bar with 15.89 Hades pellets.

Once you port your gun the way a regulated gun should be ported, all your graphs will go out the window. Right now you’re basing your decision on unregulated choked off porting. If you don’t touch your ports, you won’t truly have a regulated gun. You will just have an unregulated gun that has a regulator in it. It will be fighting itself. A regulator is not a bolt on mod if done right. It’s a bit of a project. You might also find that your HS is too strong and your hammer is too heavy. I’ve regulated quite a few guns and none of them were just put the reg in and live happily ever after. The guns became blubbery messes when being shot at a much lower pressure than they were used to seeing unregulated.
