Thought I'd share. New here, but not to shooting.

The .30 Uragan took its first today, 49 yrds, rain... caught this little bugger munching up my pumpkin. 45 gr JSB at 930 fps. He met with a quick and instant end, perfect eye shot, ATN X sight pro at 20x mag (looks a bit grainy). The pellet passed through, and went clean through the board behind. Talk about overkill. I am in love with the Uragan so far... it's a hammer for sure.

I love my U-gan .30 as well. 2nd coyote in 3 weeks- this was Wednesday afternoon while turkey scouting.

44 grain, 100 yards (109 paces) pass through- top picture shows the exit wound. I've spent time in mapping out the field where she appeared and can consistently hit a diet Coke can at that distance. Gun was rested on a tripod with a metal trailer for elbow support, very steady. The yote expired quite quickly

Turkey opens tomorrow and I can't wait to see what this can bring down. I've used .177's, .22's, 25's and .30's on turkeys in the past- pellet placement is everything with those tough birds. I think this Uragan is going to rewrite the game.

It's also good

on squirrels!

Wow beautiful Gun and great shoot. How accurate is your uragan at long range 100 yards or more

I have vulcan 2 tactic. 30 but think those uragan have longer barrels or am I wrong?

Thanks! I have yet to sling lead with this beast over 50 yrds... So When I get time to spend on longer range I'll try to follow up with a report. I was actually surprised at this yard weasel just popping up out of the blue, wasn't ready with anything... left the Edgun R5M in my basement, so I grabbed the .30 Uragan in a haste and slammed a mag into it... luckily I had sighted in the rifle earlier in the day. The barrel on this is 570 mm. Not sure what the Vulcan tactic .30 length is but should be easy enough to find out.

Pickzilla thank you for answer great guns you have would like to hear once how edgun compares with uragan from owner of both

@Blejda @cea1960 They are both awesome, but definitely are meant for different roles. The R5M is shorter (esp when Uragan is modded), more shoulder/offhand friendly, and really shines as a hunting rig (much like the Lelya). Mine's .22 cal and makes about 40 ft-lbs in current set up. I love just about everything on this rifle. It's just built so solid...inspires confidence. Accurate as heck with a fine trigger (adjusted). So easy to service and take down. Tuning is basically just using the HST screw... that's all you need to do. If you want even more power for heavier lead a Huma can easily be dropped in. It is shining with the JSB redesigned monster, the Hades, and I have found the VK 22.5 HP-DB slugs are lasers (2 days ago I put a 1/2 inch group at 50 yrds after a thorough barrel polishing, running em about 840 fps). Getting a good 45 or so shots on the reg.

Uragan - Still in honeymoon period. My 1st impressions are very, very good. Love the Czech build quality. Like the Edgun, puts FX to shame. The action is damn smooth, the accuracy at 50 yrds is pellet on pellet, makes crazy power with extreme consistency (50 shots at 84 ft lbs??? Wow), the mags are very well built, loading them into the mag well is the smoothest I have ever experienced. Very good trigger (although it is plastic - gets a ding for this), very good ergonomics... I put the Dedal on it and it is easily shouldered and steady, well balanced. With the ATN (which is a heavy pig) it is heavy... best for bipod shooting in this config. It is NOT backyard friendly out of the box. It needs a decent moderator... with the DonnyFL on it, becomes quiet (pellet hitting is louder) but that does add length to the barrel. The synthetic stock is actually very nicely textured with a grippy feel, not that slick stuff. So all in all, VERY happy with the Uragan thus far... I bought it more to be a longer range gun, because the Edgun is hard to better in a hunting set up. Will update in a few weeks when I can get to sling long range lead and test several slugs, and we'll see if any issues develop.
