Keep up the good work. I have almost the same problem. I live within city limits and the squirrels are in plague numbers. They have done thousands of dollars in damage to my home and belongings. I recommend putting out some wildlife feed with a spoon full of peanut butter where you know you have a safe shot. I took out 158 squirrels last year and I'm on pace to shatter that number this year. They just keep coming and destroying my belongings. Have you thought of getting a scope cam setup? We would all love to see your shooting

Thanks for the encouragement. I actually have a scope cam for the iphone, just did not get it installed on this rig. I didn't realize how much more difficult it is to shoot off-hand with a scope cam on. I'll try it again on the Brocock and see how I get on.
As far as the squirrels go, I thought I had made a dent in the local population after I took out 6, but 4 more were at the trash this morning. They fill the temporary void created by us. More fun for me I guess

I'm with Helimech. Set up a safe area to take them out. Might get some ricochet and car paint damage off of that concrete.

That's gotta be the most convoluted rule of a HOA...random trash bags on random curbs and sidewalks every day?? Surprised you arent overrun with possums, raccoons, crows, and bears. Good shooting all the same...where there is a HOA, there is enforcers. Be sure to stay hidden and lookout for such people.

We actually do have crows here as well. They often fight it out with the squirrels over the trash in the mornings. The hard part is making sure I am taking covert, safe shots at the squirrels. Haven't tried going for crows yet. The HOA mentions that they will take care of necessary "pest control" but I have yet to see anyone actually do something about it.

I too have had squirrels chewing on my house and raiding my garden. Lately the crows have been raiding song bird nests. The old Gen 1 .25 Marauder is the medicine. Got a crow at 60 yards of the shooting stick yesterday.
