Looking for a trail cam in the 100.00 range to see what's eating the pest I shoot and leave in the back yard. Probably cats or possums, but squirrel, rats birds always disappear over night. There are so many choices out there. Any advice?

I like stealth trail cams , but they run about $150. In your neck of the woods , it could be possum , fox , coyote would be my guess.

If you go non cellular, there are many options and all will work for the application you want it for as it sounds like you will be an occasional user and remove it once your curiosity is satisfied. I use Tacticam Reveals, but I need to monitor my trails remotely due to distance of my home to hunt club. I did hang one in the backyard for the same reason. I found foxes were eating the tree rats.

What type of remote cams are good for a range of a 5 mile radius? Is that even a realistic range? @bckyrdsniper52, I hope you don’t mind me asking this here. If so I can make a separate post. Not trying to hijack yours, but I’m curious. Got some pigs to find and eventually I wanna work some cams into my repertoire.

Ezana4CE. It's fine, post anything you want on the topic. By the way this morning I saw a huge possum sniffing around my back yard looking for a kill. I like having them around, garbage dispoals.

The range I am shooting is a good 20 yards clearly. Sometimes the foxes are a little blurry if they are moving. Deer eating corn the pics are good. I am impressed with the Reveals for the price point. I only need a reference and these are more than good for that purpose.
