I hit him starboard with a .25 Predator Poly Mag at 900+ fps and it sucked the innards out of the entrance hole.

The exit on port side was small. This one took a hard hit and still wiggled around just to irritate me.

I did NOT want to shoot this rat after picking up The Missus and her girlfriend at the airport... I wanted to sleep but the doorbell cam kept sending alerts and she asked me "are you going to shoot it"?

This one and the much larger one were quite skittish and I had to wait 30 minutes along with some pee-k-a-boo.

Mike! Great shot from a sound sleep! Boy, that was one tough rat! I had to trap the one on my patio deck running along the sides of the house, got it the other night, a large female using a piece of apple as she snubbed the PB! Then the next evening I set another trap just in case and when I went to check on it before calling it a night, there were 3 of her young ones running around! I quickly grabbed the PRod, filled a mag and proceeded to walk up to each one point blank with my Olight flashlight blinding them and popped each one in the fuse box. No pics....heads were a gumball....ewww! LOL! Nice video! Tight lines!

You can charge admission, I'd pay, to the point blank shooting of the 'carpet rats' ;) ;) ;)

The Momma rat making you actually use a trap is infuriating. The snubbing of peanut butter, hmmm? That's tough but you beat that issue with a simple piece of apple.

There's sooooooo much fruit on the ground here any bait station has to have a 'delicacy' to work.

Ha! That’s too funny! Yeah….she wanted fruit and I obliged! LOL! I really did want to infuse her with a Czech pill but alas it came down to trapping her. Your OR rats are thus tired of fruit but they truly enjoy your PB chocolate delicacy! Tight lines my brother!
