Top 3 indestructible PCP's?? *** UPDATED***

U should separate it by big bore over 30.... and 30 and smaller and run 2 different tests.

Often big bore models of the same gun from the same company are built more robust.

Also allows you to test an Evol with two others in the 25 or 30 range... along with a slayer in the big bore.

Interesting to see an lcs-sk19 tested... seemed mine held up in your last test. Did well hunting in the field for what many consider just a fun gun for cans and spinners.

I don't think Daystate,FX, Brockok e.t.c should be shielded from competing against Edgun e.t.c.

They charge similar pricing. They compete in the same fields.

Maybe just change your number tested to 5 or 7.

I like the cheap gun case idea's.

I plan on doing this test with pellet shooters only, unfortunately since this is an out of pocket video I have to keep things fairly simple. Down the road I might do something like a big bore shootout but I want to see how this one goes first. I think guns in the same price point should definitely be contenders, Edgun included. I obviously can't reach out to everyone but can use the forum to an advantage in getting the word out on my progress.  Any manufacturer wanting to participate is welcome to email me at [email protected] I have been pleased with the support so far and commend those companies willing to donate.

Hey guys, HAPPY FRIDAY!!

I have been working hard with making this happen and looks as though everything's moving forward well. The plan is to test 5 high end Airguns instead of 3 and put them through some critical field testing. Should be a fun and interesting series that will really show the strength and durability of these awesome guns. Here is a short video update that will show whats happening!

Hey guys,

I have been working really hard on this project and have thankfully acquired 5 guns as listed:

  1. Edgun RM5
  2. American Air Arms EVOL
  3. FX Dreamline
  4. Daystate Safari
  5. Brocock Sniper XR
    [/LIST=1]

These guns will all be put through equal durability test that will include, dirt, moisture, heat, cold and vibration. I suspect most will have failures, the goal is to show just how far each gun can make it. This will probably happen next month as it will take that long to build some test fixtures and to situate my camera crew for a full day of filming this challenge. I really appreciate all the support and positive feedback I've received. Looking forward to putting this out for everyone to enjoy!

    Thanks,

    Dana

  1. Sounds like another great video Dana. Can't wait to see what the guns have in store for them!

Hey guys, hope everyone is staying healthy and safe. I'm still here and working on this project. I have received a great amount of support from the community through emails and PM's. Most all manufacturers stepped up and donated guns as well as giving me a heavy discount on what I needed. Here are a few of the guns I will be using for this challenge. Some were not on my list but will be included just for the hell of it.

Daystate Safari

Brocock XR

Edgun RM5

American Air Arms Evol

Air Arms Galahad

Seneca Eagle Claw

I have a few more things to get along with an FX that I will be purchasing soon. Excuse the delay as the virus has made things take longer to get done.

Cheers,

Dana

The background music adds nothing to the video. It detracts from the main message. This ain't hollywood nor are you shooting a horror film. Nice use of a drone to get some of the video. Quickly tells the story about what kind of area you are in. The weather, and the targets.

Thanks, learned a long time ago that I can't please everyone. We have some nice areas to film and am lucky to have some great help..and two of the guys actually do work for Hollywood. Lol

Well let's watch some of your airgun videos you've produced so we can critique it and give you feed back.
