Yes! The cocking effort to achieve over 21FPE at the muzzle is FANTASTIC!! Plus, it shoots quite well.

I think the gun is mostly limited by me. I have put over 17,000 pellets down range with it so I think I know how to coax it a little, lol. It was an interesting day shifting between firearms and the pellet gun. My buddies had to laugh at me every time I pulled the trigger on the Sig.

No problem at all! I don't think I would even have the sig if it was synthetic (my personal preference). Funny thing is the stock is finished fairly dark, and can look like synthetic in some pics!

My 2 cents....
1. This gun had the largest learning curve of all my springers. It took well over 3 times the length of time to coax it.
2. This gun, for me, does better with a snug hold at the shoulder (not tight, but snug). That was probably the biggest part of the curve for me.
3. It seems pretty sensitive to where you hold the forearm. Just keep putting your hand or sandbag in the same spot. It'll be consistent no matter where but POI will change based on where you hold it. Not by a ton, but incrementally and could be frustrating. Also you dont have to hold it to the millimeter in the same spot...just try to be close and consistent to where you hold it.
4. It has been slightly rough on scopes.
5. Although cocking effort is minimal for the FPE you get, it's the actual "breaking" of the lockup that comes from factory quite stiff. It'll settle in.
6. The trigger is very good, not fantastic. No creep in mine, clear wall before the break. Breaks right now near 2lb 4 oz. It definitely gets better with time and usage. Pay attention to your trigger habits.
7. The barrel is not "blued" per se, but is a matte finish. I like it.
8. I'll keep thinking of more later....
Got one. Ignore the idea that the military hold is a must. It's one way, but arguably I shoot it better if I slightly curled my palm around the forearm and gently hold with my fingers.

These are the 75 yards. Only shot one target, and slightly heavy winds left to right. Walould like to do this again....order is again top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, center
