I flagged it 9 mins after Hoo Flung Poo posted his crap! And then sent a PM to Michael. I agree totally!

I am all on for lagging pest. I usually send some JSBs to pest but that might be too much and not accepted in that case, so I flag. I never thought about PMs for that

I've lurked in the background of a LOT of forums before.. 
The airgun forums were no different. Usually, I'll break em' down, and join at least a few.. 
Not this time.. AGN was the one and only site that I wanted to spend my time on! 
Like you said.. It's just such a Great place. Killer members, owner/operator/mods, etc. 

I used to and still do mod a bunch of groups, etc. so I'm used to having to deal with 'spam'..
Clone accounts, fake accounts, spam, etc. That stuff is about as annoying/frustrating as it gets..

That said, I'll always fire off PM's and Flag posts as soon as I think it's needed.. 
You nailed it - We all have to play our part to help out..

This is Our stomping grounds! And we're one big happy [though slightly dysfunctional] family, 
so we need to look out for each other, and the site as best we can.

On a serious note, what did I miss, was there another spam attack? I know the site was down yesterday, but I did not see any spam. I thought it was maintenance. 

You know, my prime suspect is that Chinese person that was going around trying to get the diagrams/schematics for the Edgun Leshiy and got told off in lots different ways by us. 

Second suspect would be one of them other not so successful forums that may be jealous. 

I now belong to three of these forums and spend 99% of my time here to include posting about knives in the Off Topic section. I don't even visit the Knife forums for as much as I'm into it. Been visiting the AGW forum recently, so far seems ok, to me.

Strange, this post seems very different than when I first looked at it this morning. Almost like the way "history" changed in George Orwell's 1984. 

I am not trying to derail the thread and wonder if I will disappear also.

The moderators should have deleted this entire topic rather then displaying their favoritism by leaving this topic up on display for all others to see. If you’re going to censor one member censor all members equally! I don’t care if the original topic that started all this was modified and an apology was given for it. It was done and people saw it and will remember it. If there is zero tolerance for those comments then make it ZERO TOLERANCE across the board! Be fair to all members and delete this entire topic! 

I completely agree with that, there’s enough negativity in the world as it is.
