@Matt247365 - Not sure on the date for the house warming party/airgun jamboree but, I've got an extra room, couch, and plenty of camping space! I might have to have a small get together sometime. Maybe this Summer!
@FunGun - Yeah, I was fighting some fires from time to time as well. I'm hoping things have calmed down for the Winter and am keeping all those who were affected in my thoughts.
Frank is doing well. He's currently in training for a sleeping competition. I think he's got a pretty good chance at winning!! It's really *helpful* when you're standing on the top rung of a 10' A-frame ladder with your hands full, working on the electrical system, and he decides to not only climb to the top but then, stand on top of your feet so you can't move!
"Hey look, I'm here! I'm standing on your feet! Can I go up there? Whatcha doing? What's that? I'm helping! Pet me! Is there food? When's dinner? Look how high I am!" Gotta love that fur-ball!

I managed to get a little more work done in the studio today/tonight.
I've been wanting to get the bench top done. So, I picked up some lumber on the way home from work and was able to get the frame work and part of the bench top completed, despite some interruptions.
Of course, "Frank" had to give it a trial run!!
One interruption was a vol. fire call. Then, a couple of "targets of opportunity" stopped by. The Wolverine R didn't let me down (and they will NOT be flying home
)!
Another, was a project I've been wanting to start since I moved here. I received a "new to me" road grader. It's "new to me" but, it's definitely vintage! Patent date is January of 1915!!!
After a few hours working the local roads near my house, I was able to get back to the shop and back to work.
LEVEL, Both ways.
The extra holes in the wood are there because I'm recycling the bench top I built at my previous residence.
The tentative plan is to make an extension in front of the window in the same shape as an EBR benchrest. However, I may alter the design or scrap the whole thing and make a basic straight extension.

After thinking it over some more, I decided to stick with a simpler design for the shooting bench extension. Unfortunately, I couldn't re-use my old shooting bench top. It was cut at the opposite angle and the boards were already too thin to use for this.
See the blue tape on the window? That little white spot just above the "X" is my 100 yd target. I'll have a 125y target out there as well, eventually.
It was interesting pulling off this flush fit angle cut.
Anybody got a clamp I could borrow? LOL

Nice looking shop and big enough toget a lot going.
Unless it is different than it appears in the picture, you may want to reevaluate the stove pipe clearance to combustible material

@PaulB - Yes, I have the privilege of going to shot show again this year! I'm starting to get pretty excited about it too! I hope to film some video while at the show as long as I can do so while adhering to the show rules. I'm sure Steve from AEAC will be there as well and he always does a great job at covering big events. I started checking off the booths I really want to visit such as Daystate, AoA, Air Venturi, Air Ars, Diana, Kalibr, Hatsan, Predator intl., Umarex, Crosman, Hawke, Athlon, Accu-Tac.... The list goes on and on. I noticed Atlas will be there this year too. Either I missed them last year or, they weren't there. I want to see if I can get the story on the "CAL" bipod. It will be nice to see Felipe of Accu-Tac again as well. I'd like to get an interview with him.
I'd like to get a gun review posted before Shot Show. But, as you can see, I'm still finishing some details in the studio. I managed to make some more headway on it today.

Hi Tom. Good to know you are heading to Shot Show. Would love to get good info from makers that don’t get covered as much as the paid advertisers if you can swing it.
A lot of folk want to know what makers like Kalibrgun and/or Taipan are up to with solid timelines (that last thing was a funny)
