Today was a good day

Hello boys. Got to my spot 0615, no wind 65°. 1st shot fell short, eye'd the range n thought 50y it was 72y. Used range finder after this hiccup. 2nd shot 35y head shot DRT pellet went clean through .3rd shot 27y, head shot same result .4th shot 50y center chest, dropped n kicked a couple times .php went through .5th shot 9y head shot , bunny DRT, devastating clean through php hit ground n kept going. 6th shot 35y head shot , bunny did the funky chicken down the hole, bummer . Left @ 0900 got to my second spot 0915. 1st shot 20y head shot, squirrel flopped down hole. 2nd shot 2 @ 15y head shots same results , flopped down hole. 3rd shot 10y neck shot squirrel, same result .Tried to retrieve in thick brush n almond cuttings .I cld see blood splatter, fur, n matter where POI was, n then blood trail down hole. These KC squirrels are tough, need a flash in .25, my next purchase ?. Called it a day @ 11:15, it was 93°, n getting hot. Went throught16 rounds n had 8 left, I'm loving this mag n PCP gig. Finally out of the dark ages no Springers for awhile haha . PcpFan37 you're from KC you might know this squirrel spot. Had my fun for the day, feel like a kid again ? ugh work tomorrow.
