Tips for Buying Airguns from Krale in the Netherlands

US residents select "United States" in upper right corner of Krale website, USD will reflect as currency. Towards end of purchase process, you'll have to check boxes to agree to both terms and to produce a copy of Passport or Driver's License. Have a picture, of either, ready to download, since they won't ship without. The download is a simple process, just click, as noted. A day, or two, later, UPS, the shipper used by Krale, will notify, by text and e-mail, that import fees are due of $66.99 (Brokerage Charges $12.00 and Government Charges $54.99) that can be paid on-line or COD to driver. Paying UPS by credit card is easy and is available to complete via the notification e-mail.

Anyone planning to purchase, should consider visiting Krales website for price and availability. I understand that regional sales agreements prohibit selling FX airguns in the US, but I'm not aware of any other limitations.

When I decided to buy an AT Vulcan 3 I looked at Krale because the advertised price is lower than what we see from US retailers. It's not really lower though.

I decided to buy from Talon Tunes in Jacksonville Florida and I'm glad I did.

The overall price is considerably lower.

The purchase is super simple with easy ways to pay including PP.

You get great personalized service and set up.

The #1 reason... You're supporting American small business which helps us all.

Heavy,

AGT Uragan .25 Synthetic arrived today from Krales. The total cost, to my door, was $1543.38. I'd researched the same at Talon Tunes, even going so far as to calculate shipping, the total cost was $1780.05. I saved $236.67.

I agree that supporting American small business is preferred, but, after all, we're talking about a product made in another country, and that I should pay Talon Tunes an extra $236, just because his business is here, doesn't ring true.

As far as great personalized service, I've heard both positive and negative. A recent thread I started regarding a Talon Tunes Plenum/Regulator Package for the Taipan Veteran, was very revealing, in this regard.

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree, but my limited airgun budget dollars have to be spent as judiciously as possible, so Krale will always be an option, for me. WM

No I agree with you at that price difference but the gun I just purchased would've had a total price about $40 higher from Krale if I paid shipping and duty tax. If the price is close I buy local. If the total price is $100 less across the pond I'd go that way. I like to support American small business but money doesn't grow on trees. I'm a reasonable person.

I’ve bought several Weihrauch airguns from Krale. They are out of the Netherlands. Some people have been charged a “duty” fee from U.S customs. Not me. Looking into this today along with others here on AGN it has come to our knowledge that an order up to $800 comes in duty free from the Netherlands. After that UPS will impose a duty fee. Duty fees vary by the country it is coming from.
