I'm in the market for a really short .177 carbine that has adjustable power, & would like to buy a Ranchero, but the design is somewhat dated, & I'm baffled that it costs $700 more than the streamline (with similiar features), & costs more than the brand new walnut Wildcat that includes a regulator. Im considering a Brocock Compatto instead.
Does anyone have any inside-information if a Ranchero Mk2 is coming out next year?

Haven't heard about a Ranchero mk 2 on its way bokes.
Like you I wanted a regulated small gun/rifle and had my eyes on the Ranchero.
Via my local dealer, FX in Sweeden customized a Ranchero .22 for me, with a longer barrel (cut down revolution to 31 cm) and a longer cylinder with a regulator installed (Gladiator 29 mm).
This powerplant gives 35 regulated shots on max power. That is about 825 fps, or:
-27 ftp full power
-19 ftp medium power
-12 ftp low power.
(JSB 18,39 grn that is)
I normally fill my guns from a scuba tank, but for this pistol I use the FX 4 stage torbo pump, and it is no effort at all.
One drawback only. This cylinder is fixed. On my other Ranchero's I can switch cylinders, but again, they only give about 20 shots before the drop is noticeable.
Oh, drawback nr two... You'll have to pay extra for this fabric customizing of course, but less then the price of two Ranchero's. A slightly bit more than one and a half approximately.
