Time for a Benjie Bull Pup

"Chip"Bullpup? Got it. How about some sketches on what you think an attractive bullpup looks like since no one likes the Bulldog?

Hey Chip, I agree.. a Bullpup version of the Marauder or similar would be a market winner for you if you keep it under the $750-$800 range..
Pups not only look cool but have many advantages with their compact shorter OAL and weight distribution.
Keep it simple, no need for endless amounts of Picatinny rails etc
Here's a .25 Marauder Pup I built up a few years ago that I could have sold thousands of times over with all the interest it got..
Regards, Wingman

"Leaddy"I was actually kinda shocked that crossman went with a big bore pup instead of something more compact.

You guys might consider a P-Rod with a FN P-90 style stock. Keep it compact and offer it in .177, .20, and .22.

It would compete with leyla's and would sell!

It would sell a few copies but a Benji version of the FX Wildcat in 22 and 25 would probably outsell it at least 5 to 1.

I would love to see Crossman use a larger air tube capable of a 250 bar fill something in the 470cc range, regulated if wanted on the side maybe also have an opinion to choose a Lothar barrel , offer it in synthetic and a nice walnut stock more shots per fill that's what people really like less time filling more time shooting

The BullDog is a better platform to expand to SmallBores than to bullpupping the Marauder

Better mag, better cocking with the sidelever, bigger airtube, all they need to do is keep the barrels shorter and end the shroud level with the end of the tube and it would look much better and only be 29-30" long.

also they should use better material for the stock, that plastic is just a bit to cheap.

Crosman is going to have to improve the trigger on the Bulldog if it will be used as a basis for smaller bore bull pups. Also some serious depinger work. I watched a vid on the Bullldog and they described it as sounding like shooting a banjo and I agree. And the starship troopers stock......

I think the trigger automatically will improve with the Small Bore lighter springs,
adding a depinger to the tube is a very small job,...but yeah the BullDog .357 made my hears ring good with that ping :) :)

Scratch the whole smaller caliber in bulldog idea. Let it stay 357.

From what I'm told crossman already supplies the magazines, barrels .... and maybe some more parts. For the RAR VL 12

make a deal with RAR and produce the rest of the gun in the usa for sale here.

They will outsell the bulldog any day. Just my 2 cents

I was just thinking, dangerous, that they could use some of the Bulldog parts like the air cylinder and some internals to keep the price as low as possible. I would much rather have Green Mountain supply the bbl. for the .25 or LW would be nice also. My other wants are above already posted. And you are correct in that a smaller cal. would sell better than a big bore. The problem is they are going to have to price it significantly lower than the Wildcat to sell well. I'm not in that big a hurry for a bull pup and would much rather spend as much of my money on made in the USA products if at all possible. That said I would just love to own a Daystate Huntsman. That is top shelf kit!

Ted, call up Daystate and see if they will send you a Huntsman for the next give away!
