It pays to test and it was a fun session couple hundred shots between groups and spinners. All target dots either 1″ square or round.
All .25 caliber. All 9 shot full mag groups- except first. 50 YARDS
first up AA field, Kings with thicker skirts, then Kings with thin skirts….

Next up tried pellets collecting dust on the shelf… H&N Baracudas… Are top two groups. Left one is OK, the next made me dismiss them from consideration.
Next the surprise of the day. Benjamin Domes, harder hunting pellet for ground hog skulls and crow wing bones. You all know what I mean!

Last, I just had to go back to the AA fields because they do what the Benji Domes did, just make the whole a little bigger with each shot- no spraying 1/2″ right then left.  Just a hole that sometimes gets larger and sometimes doesn’t.

AA pellets not a surprise, when you say thicker and thinner skirts I’m assuming MKI and MKII pellets not the orginal Kings.  Benjamin Domes are a surprise.  Pellet testing is always a blast.

No, straight up 25.4 Kings. Depending on the die lot, the skirt will be thicker on some batches compared to others.
