Three for Me Shooting Educated Pigeons

Since I started shooting pigeons back in Aug./Sept. of last year the pigeons have become few and educated. Today I was shooting my Impact .25 cal. with the Nielsen 26.8 slugs. I manage to get three from off the hood of my van from about 97 yards. Enjoy the brief amount of action. Bill

Pretty good shooting especially in the wind like that. I know the other night when I shot some at 35 to 65 yards with 18 gr pellets they were blowing off target by a couple inches. That's where the slugs really take over plus the longer distances. I have some slugs on order for my Huben and will be trying it out soon with them.

Thanks for the comments. I went out a month or so ago trying to find some new permissions for pigeons but no luck. I guess I will have to go looking again, of course there are always starling, sparrows and few groundhog to go after most the time. Bill
