Thread size of MPMolds 25 caliber 8 cavity sprue plate screw

This is a shouldered screw with a threaded portion. I need the threaded portion pitch/size, it is either 1/4-20 or 1/4-28 or m6-1.

I'll have to check mine Roachcreek. I'm assuming you've essentially had the same thing happen to yours that I had happen to mine. The sprue place screw that they use has a high carbon content. So repeated heatings from casting the slugs changed the temper on it, so when you tried to tighten it in, it sheared off? Let me know if that sounds familiar?

I'll get one of my MP Molds out this weekend and let you know the thread and diameter. I have a tap and die set at home that I can use to find it. I assure you it's metric however.
