Thoughts on the hatsan bull boss

I've had my bullboss .22 for 6 months with no issues, it shoots hard and accurate. My backyard range is 30 yard distance and it groups within 3/4" easily. Cocking lever is smooth and the quiet energy system is definitely backyard friendly. My bullboss has a nice wood stock and is well designed for a sub $600 PCP air rifle. The magazines are very basic and loading them is simple. This bullboss is rugged and built to last.

I own FX, Air Arms, BSA, Career, Sumatra, JKhan and a few other brand PCP airguns and this Hatsan bullboss is a keeper that I would recommend.

I have several Hatsans and for the price of the bullboss I would recommend going KRAL instead for the same money or maybe cheaper. I bought my first Kral after all the Hatsans and quality and accuracy seems a lot better on the KRAL and no regulator needed it shoots like a regulated gun straight out of the box. Furthermore the Hatsan QE thing simply isn't quiet enough for me and the trigger too. JMO! YO!

Although I agree with your points with the Kral guns, the bull boss is significantly more powerful out of the box, and even if you were to tune your kral, a tuned bullboss will still outdo it in the power department. I think the choice is made based on need and want.
