This one's for Centercut

I struggled with it tonight buddy, but I gotta show ya all the crappy groups it took me to get there. Shot six NUAH targets and best I could get was 1.063"

Decided to try my luck one more time for the magic group! LOL Yup, pulled off a 0.75" group with a 50/50 3x score for this months contest.

The six leading up to it.

Then I hit gold on the 7th target

Camp, your the Boss with the hot sauce!!! That’s awesome shooting! And at night!

Thanks CBDaddy

The wind dies down most nights, plus it's cooler, but it was hot enough for me to be out there in my skivies! LOL

The Sightron on 30 power helps overcome seeing the target and having it lit up by a bright LED flashlight helps too!

I put two targets side by side so I don't have to make as many trips. I was hobbling out there on my crutches to change out targets too. Gotta bad hip and it's been giving me a fit this weekend.

Peace and firefly grease

Jimmy what scope you use for that & on what power?

I shot some great groups but really nothing I’m happy with since selling my (3) Bushnell 4200’s

I want a fixed 10x SWFA, T10 Weaver, or etched glass fine reticle & I won’t spend more than $500 maximum. The 316 yard one hit I made on a 11x14” slab was on 4x using previous 75 yard 33.95 zero & holding over & to right for wind. I used Hawke Airmax AMX but noticed slight movement in reticle when eyepiece is adjusted. Yeah, set once & forget it but if it can move it will.
I see an etched glass Hawke for $189.00 that’s less than my $212.00 Airmax. But I’m dubious & need a super fine reticle preferably 3x9, 4x12 1x6, or, ok I would save & considering 2nd FP March 1x10 Illum mil dot reticle.

Thanks Fuss, they all look good to me!

FYI, I was practicing speed shooting Sunday morning with the .22 Cricket mini Carbine, 18.1 grain JSB at 880 FPS. After a while I noticed it had gotten very calm… I looked over and Nick was shooting his new Wildcat Compact at 95 yards. So I said what the heck, and laid down an 8 shot group (what was left in my magazine). Looked pretty good but didn’t think much of it and went back to practicing Speed Silo. So about an hour later we decided to pack up, put everything away in the shed and go home. I brought back the target stand that was at 95 yards and looked at my .22 group. Hmmm, looks better than I thought, (the scope on the gun only goes to 15x). So I got out my tape measure and it was 1.2 inches. Close, but no cigar… ;(

One more thing. I noticed your setup, everything looks good. But if you want to take it to the next level, ask Santa to bring you an AccuTac FC. You’ll thank me when your group size shrinks... ;)

Eight shots in 1.2" with 18 gr is frikkin awesome. Not to mention 15 power on the scope.

Wishing you the best at EBR. I guess you'll be leaving to head there in a day or so?

Thanks Nick & Jimmy.

Jimmy, Yep, ain't old school great!

As for my lighting, I just use what I have available. Don't know if you saw the blurry picture of the aluminum step ladder, but it's just a few yards in front and to the left of the targets.

I put one of my rear shooting bags on one of the upper steps of the ladder and it holds my little Duracell LED flashlight perfectly on target.

Mike, I might have to try one of those AccuTac's one day, but with the smaller bipods it's just easier to store the gun in the case with bipod attached. I would think you have to remove that wide stance AccuTac every time you put the rifle back in the case? But the old school atlas style bipods have been getting the job done so far?

Guys, my main reason for shooting at night is the wind seems to die down at night. It's blowing so crazy today, I'm glad I got out there last night to take advantage of the calm.

Nice shooting bud! That is what we call low light conditions! And still shooting very good groups.

Russ, you would be surprised how clear the targets look through the scope all lit up. It's not bad at all with the white paper. It's almost as if it glows?

Have you gone to hundred yards with your new Impact yet? Looking forward to your posts!
