This is getting both costly and addicting!!

So, I found myself "accidentally" buying a CP1-M last night. I mean come on, $79 for that thing, seriously, I couldn't help myself! These low cost, moddable CO2s are going to be the death of me at this rate! I think I need to make a rule though that I can't put any more into any single gun that the upfront cost of the gun. If I can't get what I want from it at that I think I'd be better off up upgrading to another gun. Also, I could see this getting much more costly if I spent that kind of money on mods.

Hahaha

Well enjoy your new toy, and toy that you'll inevitably accumulate over time! 😜

I have a problem too. [Addictive / Impulsive personality traits]

Over the years, I've stocked up on and keep adding to RC flying machines, High end photography equipment, and Air rife stuff..
OMG, I don't even like to think what I have invested in all of that stuff.. *cringes*

At least I got out of the auto / cycle buying / collecting / modifying / reselling world..
That got out of control too.

Lesson Learned? Nope. We only live once - Try to enjoy stuff while we can, because we can't take it with us in the end. 😃

*Goes back to looking up info on field-target-rifles and pistols*

It never ends! Hahaha

Yeah, I have a LONG list of interests too and none of them are cheap. Thankfully I let go of the Land Cruisers and 4x4ing, that one was costly! I do have a nice scandium Felt frame sitting here I've been meaning to build out but I'll leave that for another day. In reality these CO2 pellet guns are one of the cheapest hobbies I've ever had so I guess I should be thankful.

My initial goal was to find the one rifle to suit my needs. The latest thought is to put together two rifles, for a more thorough final choice.

The good news is I'm no longer interested in acquiring expensive bicycles, and my other hobby (ocean paddling), is expensive but doesn't require costly accessories. Otoh my replacement carbon fiber paddle cost me $450, and I'm dead set on getting a standup paddle board w/ attendant carbon fiber paddle.

The only problem with the Cp1 in the U.S. is you either have to roll the dice with a know not so great seller or order from Krales.

There is the Diana Chaser for $69.99 from PA tho.

John

I have never heard a story of him not shipping or fulfilling his obligations in terms of orders. I bought the gun based on the assumption that short of some egregious flaw or issue I would by on my own. For the price I feel it's worth the dice roll but I'm going into it totally eyes wide open. I'm also REALLY bad with details so I can understand his lack of timely responses and so on. Not saying it's good business but it's a form of business I'm willing to accept as I feel like I'm getting a $125 gun for $80 because there's no support on it and it's a fair exchange for me.
