Thinking of selling Edgun .25 r5m to get FX Wildcat .30

Sure is tempting. The Edgun is a joy to hunt with as it is so well balanced for off hand. Even at my age (72yrs), I have no problem hitting tennis balls at 50yrds. Today 2 eggs were dispatched in 3 shots, also at 50yrds. Point being, it pretty much steadies its self I dont know how the Wildcat would do in that regard. I won't pre-order the FX as the specs are not out yet. The .30 cal is the big draw. Also the 700mm x barrel. I dont think there would be any accuracy differance, just more fpe. So if you have a Wildcat with the 700mm barrel, hows the balance? Thanks.

I have an ED gun in 30 cal , I have owned prior FX 30 calibers. The edgun can be tuned from 30 FPE to 115 FPE , I get about 60 shots per fill and it is balanced well .They don't leak or break and are a built robust , i can shoot slugs at 300 yards or pellets at 100 yards , The gun is made very simple and machined well .

The FX wildcat I like it in a .22 it is a great woods gun , I had my share of leaks and regulator issues but it is good now .As for pricing $1349 is good for a .30 cal with a 700mm barrel , it is only 50 bucks more then the 22 or 25

Here is my opinion as I have both

EDGUN FX

MORE RELIABLE BETTER TRIGGER

MORE POWER 30% CHEAPER

MORE SHOT COUNT 35% LIGHTER BY ABOUT 1 POUND

Sir, with all due respect, I own 6 FX PCPs, and in defense of FX, not a single one of them has "come with problems".

i had 4 FX and all of them came to me with problems.... a friend of mine owned 3 and 2/3 came with problems..... you can read daily here in airgun nation fx issues!! its normal??

These brand based blanket statements are so old already. I have an fx with 12000+ shots and just replaced two orings. So?

You know fx make guns besides the impact and crown right? Royale, gladiator, bobcat, verminator, boss, wc to some extent are all fx guns that are hugely reliable. How many fx gun owners are here? Do you think the posts about questions might have something to do with numbers sold?

Every Streamline sold has problems? Really?
