Like the FX Bobcat I'm thinking about a Vulcan bull pup in .25 cal and could use some real world information from experienced Vulcan owners. I have several PCP airguns some high end some beginner type and I know they all have their quirks so any information you can share would be great. Thanks in advance for the help.

Have a Vulcan .25 gen 3 .
beautifully made, powerful, reliable. In the right hands accurate.
But not in mine.
It has a slight kick on firing which requires the correct squeeze on the woodwork to make it accurate.
Sadly due to my poor shooting I could not get it to group well.
Kick possibly due to light weight .
With JSB 25's appx 40 good shots per fill from 230 down to 160.
Magazine,loading easy.
Just sold it.

Thanks for the information. I was curious if the weight might be a problem. My P15 is very light too and hold sensitive but when I do my part it is accurate.

I have been using a gen4 .25 since a year. It has been the most reliable gun. I get .4" groups at 50 yards. For me the key was to hold it lightly when shooting. I also got the side cocking lever which made it a treat to shoot.

The Vulcan is an excellent gun. Well built. With a 25 cal you can plink 3-4 inch targets at 150 yards all day long.. No problem.

The Bobcat won out this time in .30 cal but I'll still be looking for a sweet deal on a Vulcan as well.
