Thinking about a LCS SK 19 in 25 caliber

Do I need one NO! Do I want one yes! The only thing holding me back is all the new toys are coming out this time of the year, I am thinking maybe wait for the new improved updated better shooting fly swatter that is being released next month,,,, And really its not just the gun, Its the added 500 cc bottle, The new scope and the new butt plate , Sure make a good jack rabbit gun, Or P dog if I could ever find any towns .

I am thinking , Thinking , Do I put my deposit down??? If you got one let me know what you think.....

Hello Mike I have one in 22 cal I have had it for a little over a year. Great gun 5000+ rounds thru it with no problems( a screw came loose under one of the back plate but just took it off and screwed it back in 5 min fix). The gun is accurate and quiet (set to shoot15.89 hades at 910 for 100+ shots). I use it mostly for pesting and to offset my AR drills being that the grip and selector are the same. Any question just ask hope this helps Eric.

Mine's in .25 and it will be a year old in May. No issues at all. I swapped to the 580cc bottle, and now have a 700cc bottle,. and I can "hot swap" them all back and forth full, so two spares. No issues other than I flipped the loading lever up past it's home on the very first load and had to fix that .. duh. It's exactly the serious machine it seems, really deadly accurate and blast to shoot.

I have a 22. Absolutely love it! I've read about very, very few problems, unlike many other"regular" guns discussed here. Manufacturer response to questions is slow, and parts are near impossible. I inquired about a 25 conversion kit....after several days I received an apologetic response that they were so inundated with demand that no barrels/magazines were available separately. The LW barrels are choked so I'm ordering an unchoked blank that will also add a bit of barrel length for slugs. Considering the waiting list, with every one spoken for, really very few come up for sale. Buy lots of pellets!

I have one in .25 and am interested in maybe getting another in .22, but like you, I want to wait since I hear rumor the new model may be coming with a 21 round magazine instead of 19 rounds. Mine is very accurate in semi-auto, and the trigger isn't as bad as I was expecting. Not to the Huben standard, but still not bad. Full auto is a blast, but quite honestly a waste of pellets. I did shoot a rat with a short 3-4 round burst, only the first pellet hit him, so the rest were really a waste! As you will see in most of the full auto videos, it's really hard to maintain POI! But if you're just looking for the thrill of blasting the crap out of a 2X4 or beer can, it does a fine job at that!

Cyber, what and where did you source the valve for the 700cc bottle?

https://airgunarcheryfun.ca/?s=700cc

After I ordered the bottle I had a little trouble finding a vendor with a valve in stock but after a few minutes of searching I found it at Talon Tunes so I grabbed one. This was not the least expensive place to buy one just the most convenient at the time.

The Impact and the SK-19 both use the same bottle and valve assembly.

Ha ha! Get it in 30 cal and don’t look back! Rely on the Hatsan 48g pellets at $9 a tin for the full auto bursts, and the 30 cal 44.75g Haydes for ultimate accuracy.

Heres my post on my set up from a few months ago-

https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/lcs-finally-coming-together/

when deciding on wether I wanted one of these back then, I really didn’t need one, and still don’t. But the idea of maybe I was missing out on owning one bugged the crap out of me so I added it to my arsenal. It’s sighted in and ready to go. I don’t use it much as I’m busy tuning two of my impacts currently that’s taking a lot of my pcp time, but when I’m done with that it’s nice to know I have it at the ready.
The big sigh of relief after buying it was there was nothing else to buy like extra barrel kits, transfer ports/pellet probe upgrades, plenums, nothing. It’s literally a gun you just scope up and go have at it. I get big pleasure watching my buddies smiles each time I let them shoot it at full auto, ha ha.

Cyber, what and where did you source the valve for the 700cc bottle?

The LCS does use the same FX valve, Ohio airguns sells them, and that's where I got mine. https://ohioairgun.com/products/fx-bottle-valve

You can also get them straight from FX. Best part is I modded my Puncher Pro to take FX bottles as well, so I have two rifles where I can hot swap bottles back and forth! :)

I turned the regulator down to 120 BAR and turned down the power wheel to shoot the 25.39 Grain JSB's. They are shooting hole in hole at 35 yards with the velocity sitting right at 909 FPS. I'm hoping with the lower reg pressure and the 580cc tank I'll get a lot more shots per fill. I was shooting the 33.95 Grain JSB's at around 965 FPS, and it stacked those nicely as well, but they are harder to find than the 25.39 grain pellets.

Mike, I have the 30 and love it! The semi-auto makes all the difference. I'm now working on a UDPSA course that I can practice on. If you've not been, I highly recommend it. I've shot ranges all my life, but these courses focus on self-defense type shooting situations, and the events that mimic real life situations. Much more fun, especially when shooting steel.

Hi, a reply here from the Netherlands.

I have had a SK-19 .25 for a year now. It has worked flawless. Did some testing with semi auto Evanix before I bought the SK-19. A lot of stuck pallets and broken pushers.

With SK--19 not a single stuck pellet. Very accurate and easy to disassemble and maintain and fun to shoot.

I wanted to shoot slugs so I have also been testing a FX sleeve (STX Superior) in the SK-19 (see images) but that has not been very successful yet. With 34 grain JSB pellets at 100 yards groups are within 2 MOA. With slugs (I tried JSB, FX, H&N etc) 5-6 MOA. I need to do some more testing when weather gets better, but I think that the magazine / barrel entry damage the slugs a bit when they are forced out of the magazine. They wobble a bit in the magazine and hit the barrel edge. Maybe a longer slug will work, still have tot test that....

I tried many things; strengthen the FX sleeve with carbon tubing, putting the slugs in silicone oil, polishing the magazine exit (see images), changing the speed and regulator, shooting from different supports...no good. Everytime when putting in some pellets everything just works great. So maybe just buy another gun for slugs...
