I really like PCPs a lot... but there is some kind of timeless beauty in classic English airguns. Deep blue/black finish, awesome woodwork, and absolutely impeccable look. So when I found this one for sale, it took me all 2 seconds to take a decision, lol!

That is one hell of a a sexy-looking gas-ram gun - love the mineral streaking in the stock! Then of course there is the bluing....those Brits do know how to make things look right!

Awesome looking air rifle. Have you shot other gas rams and if so how does it compair as far as accuracy and noise?

Accuracy - so far tried JSB Exact 4.52mm and I can group at half inch (supported). Tomorrow (and on Sunday) I'll try H&N FTT 4.52mm which are considered best for that gun. But so far I like it a lot regarding accuracy. It's seems to be a bit more accurate than my SLR .22 was.

Cocking effort is just like most springers, noise is minimal. From bystander's perspective pellet hitting the backstop is more noisy than shot as such. But don't forget it's set at about 12 fpe so that also makes it so quiet and easy to cock. And, of course, my unsupressed SLR was WAY noisier, and with screw-on silencer it was just too long to shoot comfortably.
