The wonderful RWS 34

These are great shooters. Inherently accurate. This one is in .22 with the T06 trigger. Only shot about a hundred pellets through this one, so not broken in yet. Quarter size 5 shot groups at 30 yards. Here are 3 groups from this afternoon in fairly windy conditions. They all can be covered with a quarter. Things should tighten up when it is fully broken in. My .177 version with the T01 trigger and vortek kit shoots dime size groups. Even with me behind the trigger. Lol. Do you have a trusty model 34? What are your thoughts? Another really nice thing is that they shoot the cheap Walmart crosman really well! Count the small blessings. Refurbs can be picked up very reasonably priced.

The 34 ( all varients old , now, plastic, wood) are nice rifles. I do not own one , simply can not cock springer's anymore but I have used several and have a friend and "Squirrels fear him"! he has an older T-05 Panther pro with the barrel shortened and sleeved and has taken hundred's and hundreds of squirrels with it (.22) I used to tease him that he a 3-4 in the freezer and just took them out for posing as EVREY darn shot is in the same spot between ear & eye ( but some on the left & some on the right so nope, no frozen squirrels, LOL) Same fellow for a while had a refurb Panther .177 T-06 that was outstanding, used it for his FT backup rifle and he is a National Champion, pretty good endorsement right there. And even though I cant shoot one when I saw one online at $179.00 new it took all my will not to buy it. It seems to me the 34 is one of two ( well, maybe a could more but) springers to really recommend, the 34 , any variety is you want a .22 that can hunt ( and shoot targets) and the TX-200 for strictly .177 shooters and more target or wanting flatter shooting.

Thanks for adding the pic.

Here is the vortek .177 model 34 T01 with two five shot, thirty yards groups shot this afternoon. One smaller than a dime and one just barely over a dime. These older 34's are perfect for adding a limb saver to the plain wooden butt stock. Works great and very comfortable. Got mine at Walmart mart for 20 bucks. Vortek makes for very smooth cycle.
