I just picked up a Taipan Veteran .25 shorty as a mate to my Wildcat .25 and  damn if I can't decide on my favorite now. I'll be shooting both at a 100 hundred yards this sat so we'll see !!

Mine has a stock FX reg. and I'm getting in the 920 range FPS with JSB 18.13's.

Two days into Wildcat .22 Mk1 ownership preliminary results/impressions, fit and finish outstanding prefers JSB 18.13's was 850fps out of box, bumped up to 870fps that's all I can get out of it, brass HSA screw was easy to break loose, .25 has thin aluminum one, I was surprised how loud it was out of box had no baffles I put my two .25's on, later Bobcat three, made a big difference will consider LDC later.  The gun has shown very consistent shot strings so far, first serious bench session shot 3\8 7/16 group,( I only shot two ), at 50yd., was 90 degrees and was shooting into sun, better to come!

Yeah, the factory baffles don't do much for sound reduction.  I can't shoot mine around farms without a suppressor.

I have 3 sections on mine too and that works for me. Frankly, I don't like my guns to be completely silent.
