The Weihrauch Moderator

I have been saying for a long time that the Weihrauch silencer is a very effective one, it uses the same principles I have found to be most effective, 3 chambers with some thin felt surrounding a well vented inner tube. The only thing I do not like about them is they use plastic inserts which can get brittle and disintegrate. But they are very effective. My design ended up very similar to theirs through prototyping and trying different ideas, it is by coincidence that we both ended up with similar designs, I came across their design by chance when I saw someone in the UK post a video of 3 silencer comparisons, one of them was the Weihrauch which was hands down better than the other 2. If I had one myself I would be inclined to replace the plastic curler pieces with aluminum that is well vented, Neil.
