The "Tiny" Targets Thread

I was thinking that this forum could benefit from a collected thread for homemade and bought targets that are a little more creative than the regular pellet trap.
I know I would be interested in seeing what you guys are throwing pellets towards. :)

I want pictures in every post, so try your best.

I like Steelplinkers.com quadrant target, so I tried making it for myself since I have the equipment..

I mentioned I had equipment but I'm lacking in skill.. I think for the next one, I'll square instead of trying to have a round target..

This should be a fantastic thread. Even though I just made a thread about it(the chalk), I will add the chalk target since its new to me as I'm pretty new

I only have one shooting session on the chalk, but IT'S FUN! I I shoot from the carriage house at the chalk from short to all the way out to the tree line. After some conversation I will be cutting these down into .25" .50" targets and gluing them atop golf tees.

Edit: if you look close you can see my foot prints in the field. Haha

Does it make a subtle dust cloud when you hit the chalk, or is it more like an explosion?

That's the finished product. I have doubts it will last even 1 tin of pellets thrown at it.

What an exelent idea for a topic ....I will get some photos up soon and add them to the pile ...I really like your quadrant target ...I have played around with paint balls for a while and find them very satisfying for the kids also have seen toy soldiers used by airgun friends but I find that a little bit morbid lol
I plan on makeing some mini sized animal targets out of steel and setting up an obstacle course for the kids and myself to simulate actual hunting ranges and shots!

BitFrost: Dang! What were you smacking that with? I suppose also, what thickness is that target? You laid some hurting on it!

I just picked up some steel plinker targets. I am pretty excited as they are the first ones ive ever had. The squirrel is 1.5 inch upper and a 2 inch lower. The spinners are 1.5 inch center and the outsides are 2.5 inch.

Heres what my new steel plinkers look like. Just took the first shots on them before I ran out of light. Very excited with these. I plan on stretching them out to 50 tomorrow. My Krosa didn't faze them.

Lin: that target is GNARLY! What size are those targets?
