The Priest

I’ve had some T-shirt prints made, and actualy wanted to make a print “ The Priest... nothing to F(i)X”!!

or “ The Priest, what a Impact”!!😝... but don’t want to rub it in to much with my Impact owning friends😄

And finally!!!!!!

I’ve got my new toy..... ok got it a few weeks ago but still🤥 ... if I did’nt try it first what could I tell you?

First of all RTI made aftermarket parts like an extended buttpad wich enable you to adjust the hammer spring, a piccatinny rail with 20 moa kant for the long distance shooter, adjustable regulator, and also a regulator for pressure tubes and also adjustable from the outside!!

the trigger is totally different from the old one, it is three way adjustable and great! ( the old one was really not bat at all either) valving is different (can’t realy tell what) spring guide in the hammerspring, and a slightly different magazine, the new one enables you to load the pellets and guide them in with youre thumbnail... if you shoot the JSB Express in .177 ( a light and short pellet) but I don’t think this will be the case for you “power hunters” ) you must push the pellet a bit further or while cycling the bolt the dome of the pellet wil fall short in the mag and wil be pushed back, with a pellet pusher this wil not be happening.... the express pellet was the only pellet wich gave me this problem..... and that was ultimitly the only problem!

at the 50 meter ( 55 yard) indoor range at 12 footpound I shot a 0.39 inch group wich is the size of a pinkie nail?

But I will use it for FT shooting so made a hamster, and a cheek rest, and bought a nice excentric surpressor/moderator!

somebody told me no pics, then it did’nt happen🤪

Made father and son hoody’s ....

cheerio,

Alex

Like the hoody’s. I just changed my old model to a new model. It’s now a .22 and I couldn’t be happier with it. When I got it all put together, I got it sighted in and found that with the JSB 18 gr it’s spitting them out at 980 fps and into a dime sized group at 50 yds. It was good enough to take a Eurasian dove at 151 yds just an hour ago. I think you’ll be happy with it and if you have any problems, contact Rob at RTI. He’s been very patient and very helpful with me. Hope to hear more updates on how the gun is working for you.

Oeps....

super surprised what the Priest 2 did at 50 meters...

forgot to take pictures☹️

Tomorrow take it to the first competition🥳🥳🥳🎉

I will also take my old Priest apart and take pictures of the trigger sear...

I’ve sold my Walther LG 400 2600 euro’s about 2946 dollar (new) to get a new Priest... it’s just more fun..

if you don’t know what you’re doing ... don’t touch the trigger screw!! There is another topic wich states that the sear is un safe of the older Priests..

like any trigger, when set to light, it surprise you, and be potentially un safe... this has nothing to do with the trigger but all with the person and his allen keys😉

just shoot!

🤪 Alex

stay safe, and have fun!

Alex

Had my first match today...

rain, wind!!! And not every distance correctley marked!

with a rainsuit (slippery) and only 7 points of the nr1.. considering that he uses the same gear for several years, that is a great start!!

I’m verry happy, and I’m going to take the lessons learned... and proceed to take the Priest to the European championships in 2020

cheers,

alex

So,

With a modified surpressor, you really only hear the hammer hit the valve!

and for this year we organise and host the European HFT competition, so I’ve put an old type Optisan Mamba scope on my rifle, thanks to junior who blackmailed me in to letting him use the EVX 6 x 24 FF .....

Oh well, you can’t go wrong with an optisan anyway😜

some pics of the current set up!

All add on stuff like scoperings and accesoire rails are from Ali express, on the lower Priest the scope rail can be canted, and is 18 Euro’s or 20 dollar I think... also quick detach with a locking system👍
