I was thinking why I need so many accessories. Why not have a scope with it all!

Perfect Scope:
1. MRAD FFP micro reticle with windage marks
2. Illuminated reticle
3. Clear glass
4. Built in level inside viewing area.
5. Built in range finder with info viewed in scope
6. Programmable with ballistic information
7. Realtime Illuminated dot inside scope showing hold over location based on range, ballistic info, windage, etc. Put the dot on the target and pull the trigger.
8. Built in video camera capable of slow motion capture.
9. Photos with reticle hidden? or not hidden
10. Built in infra red and ir illumination for night vision hunting.
11. Auto zoom in , zoom out, or push button mounted so it can be controlled without moving hands.
12. Built in extendable/retractable sun shade.
13. Blu Tooth enabled to link with laptop or personal device for stats, images, video download
14. Blu Tooth links to Kestral for real-time windage for illuminated holdover dot calculation.
15. Reasonably light weight (don't laugh, technology with allow for this one day)
16. Motorized scope turrets controlled by targeting software, allowed for all targets to be shot after ballistic calculation with cross hair dead center, option to illuminated targeting dot.
17. Huge zoom range, 4x60
18. Auto parallax down to 10 yards to infinity
19. It should drive me home after too many beers.

Feel free to add to the wish list.

Well, it should weigh less than a gun with all those accessories externally attached since everything will need miniaturization to be integrated into the scope.

Obviously this would be a huge R&D engineering project and very expensive. Just a wish list for future development. I bet even the military would be interested in some of the features I listed.

Not only does the military probably already have it but it sits on a gun with guided missile bullets that can take out targets behind walls and corners.

I think Adamantium is actually stronger and more easily obtainable than Unobtainium, and element so rare and unobtainable the price of the scope would also be unobtainable. This goes right along with my desire for dark matter bullets which I think would create a tiny black hole and implode varmints in a infinitely compressive gravitational field thus eliminating the evidence and the cleanup. You might also be able to toss your trash in there before the field collapses into the forth dimension.

I also found the Burris Eliminator III laser range finding scope. It's quite expensive compared to the ATN X-Sight 2 without all the features of the ATN but it does have an actual laser rangefinder and illuminated hold over dot. However, I'm not sure the ballistics information for airguns would be available for the Burris scope.

So far fantastic. I have not tried the night vision or ballistics calculator yet, but every thing else about the scope seems really nice. This scope is basically a digital camera in a scope housing. One thing to note is that it does not have auto focus , so when switching distances you have to focus the view. The recticle screen reminds me a lot of the Theodolite app. There are 7 recticle choices and 7 colors to choose from.
