I spent some time shooting my most reciently acquired SLR 98 yesterday, A Beeman branded .22 carbine. The gun was never shot much and still at the factory tune. Initial testing indicated it's running at 17-18 FPE, I don't know the DOM yet but it hasn't lost a thing over the years! The gun is quite "tight" and is not broken in yet. I haven't shot a spring gun in two years as PCP's have been occupieing my time, I won't be posting any of yesterday's groups (it would be embarrassing) but better to come! Scope is a Leupold M8 10x fixed power I had for decades made in 72-74 according to Leupold, they responded back within 1/2 hour after I emailed them a description and s/n of the scope! They sure know how to make beautiful air rifles in the U.K.!!!
