Went out shooting with a friend at one of the dairy farms that we go to a couple days ago

I was shooting my Huben with the new slug from MP Molds the slug weighs in at 34.7 grain

and it did very well I would say that it shot much better at 150 and 200 yards and most of my

shooting was at 200 yards , the slugs that were poured with a soft lead would load with no

sizing necessary and shot ok but the harder ones that I sized did the best .

The slugs that were poured with a softer lead were chambered in the Huben with no sizing necessary

and shot ok the rounds that I used a harder lead did need to be sized the lead had a BHN of 13 . So I

made a range card and then I see a GS at 65 yards well the Huben hit him hard really hard just under

the chin and exited out his side , the slug planted the GS right there . More testing will be needed .

Great shooting. Don't know what's more impressive, the shot or your handoads. Are you using fishing lure weights for your slugs. I'm new to this. Thanks n keep on pesting.

I'm using old wheel weights for lead I've got about 200 pounds of the stuff and use it for my hand casting

the lead has been fluxed and cleaned and casted into 2 pound bars . i also did some casting today with some

40:1 lead and the slug did not fill out as much as I would of liked .
