The new and improved 22 cal Huben's are here

Well the new Huben's are here in the USA and and I took delivery of mine today

it's in 22 cal I was told that the 25 cal will be available sometime in January

the Hubens are made at the new factory and have a better box the new gun comes

with a complete O-ring kit now there are some improvements to the gun one being

in the valve seat the materials used I was told will never wear out and I believe the

barrel is non-choked I'll need to take the gun apart to confirm this. I'll take the gun out

in the next couple of days and I'll report back with the results.

Magazine is not removable

trigger is very nice and crisp, has nice short first stage and clean break

that’s the main reason I didn’t get SK19 I had chance to play with both and SK19 trigger is worst I ever saw. My cheap Evanix or Hamerlli has better trigger

Huben over all looks better refined compare to SK19, I liked carbon tank and easier loading on SK but it’s bit rough compared to Huben. Huben feels like more expensive over all

Well I got busy today but I wanted to check back in on this thread

I purchased this new Huben from Kelly here is his contact info https://krazcool.com

and to answer some of the questions that have been posted the magazine does not

come off the gun and is loaded in place and you rotate it. I tested the trigger out and

it has a soft first stage and a short clean break for the second stage I tested the pull

with a Lyman pull gauge and it was consistent at 1 pound 15 oz it actually felt very good.

The barrel does not have a choke and I think this is good news I did give the barrel a

cleaning and set a tune on the gun in the high 980s the gun shot consistently between

981 to 987 so it had a 6 fps spread I think thats great for a new gun and its better than

my other Hubens. I hope to shoot on Sunday and run several types of ammo through it.

Here is a picture of the barrels crown it's good to see that Huben got away from the button crown.
