As many know, I have been really impressed with the EDgun Matador Std in .177. This little slugger is a 31 FTLB tackdriver.
Today was cleaning day and after getting the bore cleaned I ran a JB bore paste coated felt through the barrel 10 times with the patchworm. I scrubbed the barrel with patches and ballistol then pulled a felt with JB paste 10 more times. I cleaned again with ballistol patches and dry patches.
I am beyond impressed. Groups tightened to literally one hole at zero distance of 40 yards. Today I moved my resettable 1” target to 75 yards and honestly rarely if ever miss. I do not claim to be a shooter when it comes to managing changing conditions... but when conditions are good this gun is absolutely amazing.
What really got my attention was shooting bubbles in the lake though. From my back patio I can shoot to the lake. You guys know the “scum” that collects near the shore. When I Impact this shoreline scum it makes bubbles Oh boy what fun to make and target bubbles at 160 yards. Yes I said it... 160 yards with the .177 Matador Std. What a blast.
