Reg is on 130 bar and not sure on the hammer spring. This is how it came from AOA.

    Blackpaw –

If you want to keep is short…don't forget the Daystate baffles…inside of the shroud !

You've seen my post(s) on how to do this.  I don't use any additional suppressor other than the internal baffles.  But I've got mine turned down to about 875fps .  This method is quiet enough to not bother my cats, even just a few feet away sleeping !

Today i spoke with Francisco on the phone and he said he would be sending my 22 cal barrel kit to me next Monday.  I still want to run the 177 through the paces though before switching over.

In a few weeks I plan to order the cheek riser and then the butt stock extender.

Please do some pictures on the 177 accuracy. Looking at getting the barrel kit there.

As far as .22 goes. Loving it. Single pellet-sized holes at 50m. Not fussy at all, eats hades, heavy's, monster's and beast's. At speeds previously not achievable… Turned me into a precision shooter 😉 I'll do a video soon.

@riaandw79 I will try to do some groups, but until the end of today we have had a good wind gust the last two weeks. And by the end of today I needed some hot coffee to dechill the bones.  However, I did a shot string 10 shots, and impressed, though I had one shot that was 14 fps slower compared to the average.  I know it is just 10 shots, but I figure if you throw out the slow shot, STD would 2.5-3.0 FPS.  That is pretty tight in my book.  I will try to do a group this week.  Too bad the indoor range here in town shutdown a while back.  The guy who retired and opened up a gunshop decided he truly wanted to retire and closed the shop, selfish bastard.

Just so you know, I pretty much literally have gotten or am getting the last CZ barrel kits Francisco has, and for the foreseeable future, RTI will only use LW barrel in the Prophet Compact.  Months back Francisco put the CZ barrels to the side for me until I could afford the gun.  So if you order a 177 barrel kit most like it will be a LW not a CZ, according to Francisco I got the second to last he had.  Maybe other dealers still have them. However, RTI Arms themselves said this was coming in an email to me which I posted a couple of months ago in another RTI prophet compact string.

Still learning the updated version of the FX app, here is a more detailed shot string view.

Very nice spread there actually. Thanks for the barrel info. Was obviously hoping for the CZ in 177. The 22lr Lother Walther is a masterpiece though. Haven't seen a flyer yet (at least not one caused by my own shitty shooting)

Also looking for local indoor ranges (or abandoned buildings) here locally. Covid really turned up my hermit personal nature too 😉 The 22lr at over 1000fps doesn't seem to allow time for wind drift at my 45 yards home "range" distance, which I guess is where it shines.

To be honest there was some buyer's remorse while waiting for the Prophet to be delivered… Didn't really need another air rifle, but even the Leshiy 2 is seeing less attention now. The Prophet is just a pleasure to shoot and tune.

It’s appealing to look at also! I’m enjoying mine and in about a month I plan on putting the .30 cal barrel on to see how it does.

Do you prefer this gun over the FX Impact and for what reason?

If only, it's the underdog… As powerful and versatile at half the price.

@riaandw79 here in the USA the Prophets sell within $300 to $400 of the Impacts.  I like that you can adjust the regulator down without having to degas the gun each time. Not that I have done it more than a couple of times yet.

Impact Mk III or RTI Prophet if you can only have one and why?

For me a couple of reasons and I owned a MKII impact in the past. I prefer my RTI prophet performance compact.  One it is initially a bit cheaper. Barrel kits are much cheaper than FX barrel kits. The third gen rti regulator is holding and I love you don’t have to degas the gun to lower the pressure, I don’t know if you have to do that on the MK3. Plus I am many feel the simpler design of the Prophet makes the Prophet a more durable field gun than the impact. Plus I have little confidence in 177 cal barrels for FX, at least past one, maybe QC is better now. What I do miss on the impact is the hammer spring speed dial.

Update on the specs for my coming 22 cal barrel kit.  I spoke with Francisco and I will be getting a 510 mm barrel, which fits into the compacts existing shroud, I remember Alex of ARA told me his buddy did the same thing in the gun he reviewed a few months ago on his channel.  Barrel was supposed to be shipped today, but I also needed the barrel changing tool, and so Francisco delayed shipment a week until the tools are back in stock.    Plus the weather has been absolute piss, so no real point to go out, and lots of work, and interviews for career jobs, vs the two part time.

The 510 mm barrel should be good for an upcoming project, and should lead to a little more efficiency.

@blackpaw – I saw that you sold your Taipan Veteran to get the RTi PPC. With a moderator attached (or using the baffles mod) to the PPC, will it be as quiet as a Taipan Veteran? I am considering getting one of them, just need to make sure which one is the most backyard friendly. Thanks.

@pcppewpew I have it with the 177 barrel kit right now and the gun is extremely quiet with the Tanto.  However, in a larger caliber configuration the gun may not be as quiet as a comparable Taipan, in 25 cal my Taipan was crazy quiet with the sumo.
