Yes, I have found the same with the dimpled nose slugs. They pencil through more than anything else. Good accuracy though.

Fun video and thanks for sharing. Expansion is a lot more important than most realize. This is the difference between VKs and NSA at 50 yards.

Awesome video guys!
Having a blast at what your doing and even showing the not so good hits and misses too. Big difference in the hollow points on impact. Was shooting some VK 34s yesterday at 940fps and just explodes starlings....pop like balloons! Lol.

Yes we like to show the misses and the mistakes. They do happen and we aren’t ashamed to say it, but we always work to get the finish done as fast as possible.
We havent tried vk’s yet. So far those neilsen hollows have been treating us very well.
We have some footage coming from yesterday of literal bird explosions. And dare i say it now......a pass through double on woodchucks :0.

I think expansion is well recognized in the pb world, but its still so new to airguns. I mean its really only newly possible.
I tried every kind of hollowpoint in my springers with no real reward. Pcp energy just breaks it open, and then slugs push it further. Exciting times indeed!
I figured worse case those dimple slugs would perform as well as a pellet. Totally wrong. The flatter pellet performs so much better than a dimple point slug. And then a real hollow point slug outperforms the pellet by at least the same margin and much further.
