So the guys in S.A. apparently are able to get together again to a degree as they're letting up on covid restrictions a bit ( for the time being ). As such - they released a video with the three of them (Roelf, Gerhard, and Matt). I've been nailing woodchucks as of late out at 80, 90 yards, and and some at over 100 ( two at 119 and one just recently at 135 ). I *really* want to get something to record these with. ( lol )
Getting back to the boys in S.A. - see attached screen scrape of the cam setup that I'm guessing one of them was using.
It's the "firefly" one that caught my eye in particular. *If* I'm reading this right - one could get this setup for under $500 usd from here (mount) and here (camera). (??)
The side shot folks, admittedly, use a *very* expensive camera that drives their cost well north of a grand. Cha Ching . . . ( ouch )
So . . . am I reading / seeing this right? If the video quality is good enough for these guys (lol), and it's half the cost . . .
