The folks at FX have been listening to the consumer...

RIGHT HANDED SWINE!!!....There are approximately 708 million left-handers in the world...we like fancy pcp air guns too! If FX is listening, it must be with their right ear only...

I've complained about this to FX on various forums since 2007...after a while a body gets a bit frustrated!

Fondest regards and best seasonal wishes....

Actual footage of left-handed shooter trying to get FX Corporation's attention...

PS: There's some really nice features on that gun...too bad a magazine makes a lousy cheek rest!

You have a valid point Uncle Hoot. Maybe they are putting something together for the left handed folks, as it would sell.

I was pleasantly surprised, even impressed a bit, that they actually put a 20MOA rail on it. Cudos to FX! Having to put out the extra cash for 20MOA rings always burned my butt. Cuz they have known for a long time they were needed on most of their guns.

Yup, left handers have about as much trouble with stuff as us short people. We both deserve better but until there are more of us it's not likely to happen.

I shoot my impact and boss left what is the problem? Trigger hand stays put, right hand cocks and loads magazines.

I can see why the mag position would be a problem with the maverick. But all fx guns? Gimme a break.

The mag sticks out the right side of the stock where my cheek would go. The cocking and loading is no big deal as I have to deal with it on all guns I owns.

I have been considering a Dreamline as they are lefty friendly but I would prefer an Impact or this new Maverick.

Mag position is a non issue on the impact when shooting left. It's more near the side of the chin and has no "impact" on cheek rest.

See?

OMG, I am LMAO, that is funny...

I also shoot left handed and have never had a problem. Even though I bought the Maverick for my son, I do t see a problem for a lefty shooting it. If there is a problem, Stephen at K&L will make something for it.
Stoti

You saaaayyyy you bought it for your son...but we all know it’s a guise so that you can test it hehehehe.

I do CAD - design work, driving the mouse with R hand, and whenever I need to type in some numbers I need to let the mouse aside and punch the numbers on the numpad (on the R side of the keyboard)...with R hand.

The guy beside me is a L handed...he drives the mouse with L hand and can punch the numpad simultaneously not lifting a finger...

This was piiising me for quiet some time, why the keyboards are built for L handed people? Why is no built in numpad from L side so I can use both my hands in same time?

:) so you lefties don't be so such a sensitive and winding always for opposite side...
