Ok harry so on my DW all the calibres drop down to 700 FPS on the touchscreen regardless of weight etc. it then toggles back to 945 FPS, if you go past each end of the range it toggles back if that makes sense.

Thanks S1Mark, "700fps" about 27ftlbf (with 25g). in the below vid about 2:40 in , Tony B scrolls down to 500fps, it is a .22 and set on "heavy pellet".

In manual mode, I've shot mine a lot w the 22 barrel and Hobbies at 500 in my shop for offhand practice(really needing it). The lowest the dwell will adjust is 1500 microseconds and voltage down to 66. That's just a little bump on the valve. I had the reg at 136 for that. Factory mode has limits on velocity, depending on the cal and projectile. It will go over 1100 with some combos but as mentioned above, lowest speeds in factory mode will be with heavy pellets.

Hi harry, rechecked my gun, definitely 700FPS is the minimum in .22 factory setting, however in advanced settings it wouldn't be!
As far as the video the gun you refer to is a sub 12FPE gun as I understand it, 500FPS would be typical for this energy level!

.30 barrel should be here this week, a friend is due to receive his .25 DELTAWOLF by the end of January, so finally I will have someone to play with LOL! plus plenty of .25 slugs to share!

At least to me a 3000 dollar sub 12 gun is hard to justify. Then again I can’t justify a 3000 dollar airgun to begin with when my 2000 dollar air gun shoots just peaches and cream. Then again my 400 dollar guns shoot damn amazing too!

If I only had sub 12 then yes of course! it's an amazing new toy for sure and you can still play plenty with it even in sub 12, I just love the screen on it as well.

Well the spare barrels arrived, I ran my beady eye over them and the attention to detail is exceptional, the pin connector, finish and fit is very very good, barrels slide in and out like a hand in a cashmere glove, no O rings as opposed to the REDWOLF which reinforces the quality of the fit! probes are nice and I really like the new mags, of course I generally only shoot my REDWOLF's with the single shot tray so a mag is a novelty for me.
Testing at 100 yards indoors will hopefully soon commence and as always the .22 is the favorite combined with the JSB MONSTER RD 25.4g!

Anyways here is firstly the DAYSTATE VALVE and a 580cc bottle!
M20-1/2" UNF adapter, these are in stock at the factory so AOA should be able to get you one no problem!
I am going to do an explanation of dissasembling the barrel and chrono/shroud etc. shortly!

could you tell me what size spanner wrench you used to remove the valve from the bottle? was there anything in the way of Loctite on the threads at all? and is there a process to safely de- gassing the bottle that you could take me through?.
my RFD just told me that delivery for my .25 FAC delta wolf is expected at the end of march ( ordered mid November).

Hi Paul, not sure what you mean? that is a brand new bare 580cc bottle and a new unfitted valve! I didn't remove it from the bottle that comes with the gun if thats what you mean?
The spanner is availble from BEST FITTINGS in the UK for £20- they sourced them after seeing the one I have which actually came from the USA to the UK but cost about £70-
I simply showed this so that if anyone wanted to fit a 580cc carbon to their DW they know it can be done.

Yeah sorry , I thought you had removed the valve from the 480cc bottle that came with the gun, do you know if daystate are going to supply 580cc bottles or will uk consumers have to purchase a bare carbon fibre 580cc from elsewhere?

First stage barrel dissasembly! remove two screws at rear of shroud and pull gently off in a straight line, to expose rear bush, wire and complete chrono unit at front!
